Best Entry Level Ryzen 3 Lapto22 Aug, 2020
I have always been a Lenovo Customer and with buying this Laptop I am emphasizing after all these years I still love Lenovo. I used a Lenovo G480 for 7 years with Debian GNU/Linux 8 (Stretch). This is the best entry level Ryzen3 Laptop. With affordable price. 23,000₹ is a jackpot. Please note that this Laptop doesn't come installed with a Windows 10 operating system. You need to buy windows separately. I wanted to install Debian 10 GNU/Linux (Buster) Operating System, so this laptop was perfect fit. Also I didn't have to pay for 3000₹-4000₹ windows license which anyway I am not going to use. Those planning to use GNU/Linux Operating Environment. This is a good option considering it cost you only 23,000₹. The laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 3250U dual-core APU. Each core supports two threads so the operating environment will get quad-core count. The AMD Ryzen APU also comes packed with AMD Radeon VEGA graphics. For GNU/Linux user's you can get updated driver form AMD website free. I am using "amdgpupro-ver20" on Debian GNU/Linux 10. The laptop comes with 4 GB DDR4 PC2400 MTS of un-removable RAM (soldered on to the mainboard). But you can buy an additional 8GB DDR4 PC2400 MTS RAM from CRUCIAL (formerly Micron) for about 2000 ₹. The maximum support memory on this Laptop is 12 GB. The Laptop comes with a 1 TB SATA 5400 RPM HDD. Which does a decent job. But if you are looking for SSD. This laptop does have a M.2 SSD slot, which supports: M.2 SATA HDD. (No use - since you end up with SATA transfer rate) M.2 PCIe HDD. (Still better than M.2 SATA) M.2 NVME PCIe HDD. (the best option) It comes with 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0 port. This have a matt display screen which minimize the reflection. It weighs approximately 2kg or so. The Key Board doesn't have backlight, that may be a drawback for some people. You need to buy a bag to carry the laptop as it doesn't comes with a bag. My old Lenovo G480 used to come with its own bag. A backpack, that bag is still strong, without any issues (crack's, tores etc). For this Laptop I had to buy a Lenovo Laptop Briefcase Bag for 700 ₹ (Discount Sale in July). I have only good things to say about this laptop. This Laptop is best for someone who wants to buy their aftermarket preferred operating system, then install and customize it. If you are looking for a Windows Pre-Installed Laptop then this Laptop is not for you. Thanks Debuggerboy Visit me : https://debuggerboy.com/
